When 21 year-old Terry Fitzgerald returned from his first Hawaiian Winter, he was ready to unleash the most progressive surfboard design ideas of all time. Incorporating the artwork of Martyn Worthington, and with a band of dedicated craftsmen the legend was launched. The Original name was to be Hot Buttered Soul Surfboards. Trying to fit those four words onto a Rainbow logo didn’t work, but, Hot Buttered Surfboards was born and remains one of Surfing’s true originals.
And that word, ‘SOUL’? It never went missing. It lives within these surfboards along with the characters and personalities of those who have ridden the boards, over four decades, in the best waves on our planet. |
